Prices are affordable, location is conveniently located to the town centre, and staff is friendly and very welcoming. The rooms we got were beautiful, a two story penthouse perfect for a family. Very pleasant stay and would return again.

The Oaks suites have been renovated and is well maintained, inside and out. Idealy positioned a very short walk to the marina, beach, cafes and restaurants. Handily Onsite parking is also included in your stay. All aspects of Management of the Oaks is first class and friendly, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to family and friends.

Many thanks to all staff at Oaks Nelson Bay Lure Suites for my recent stay. The reception staff don't miss a beat with their friendly welcoming upon arrival and smiles as you walked pass their desk on the way to the pool, thanks Carol and Steve. The gentleman who was also called Steve who appeared to be a maintenance man had pride in his work, this was always obvious as you passed him each day, also a "good morning" from him and he didn't hesitate to stop and listen if you wanted to ask him something. Corridors and general areas (pool) were always immaculate, many thanks to the hard-working cleaning staff. All of the staff are a credit to the Oaks brand name.

Location was ok, a little bit of a walk. Rooms could have been better, pillows were way to high to sleep on and bed was not comfortable. Daily cleaning services could have been better a vacuum for starters. However dispite all of the above carol was very helpful assisting me with my room needs and was friendly making the experience a little more enjoyable.

Would thoroughly recommend staying here. We passed through for one night only. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are large, well equipped and very clean. Fantastic location, close to Dutchies beach. Great value.

Really enjoyed our stay this week at Oaks Lure. The premium 2 bedder was perfect for our family - plenty of room for the kids to run around and for us to veg out. Service was excellent. Carole at reception was really friendly and accommodating. It was a rainy checkin and the team checked us in 2 hours early and provided us a late checkout - the extra hour meant the kids didn’t have to rush through breakfast and we could checkout remaining relaxed from our holiday. Little things but make a big difference. Thanks team!

Just had a weekend away to celebrate my anniversary and the room was much bigger than we were expecting, was extremely tidy and all up to appliances. The location is amazing as it is super close to great places to eat all around a 5 minute walk away. Beds were comfortable. Stuff at reception were very friendly. Only thing that my girlfriend and I weren’t overly happy about was the noise that the aircon kept on making every 5-10 minutes, it some times woke us up in a shock

What a great 2 night stay - Carole on reception was so welcoming & gave great info & tips to enjoy our stay - facilities fab & lovely views from our balcony looking over the Bay. Thx for the complimentary parking & Birthday wine Carole ……. Winter perfect weather too !! Highly recommend
